THE Penang State Sports Council plans to appoint full-time coaches for state dragon boat racing and canoeing teams by early next year.
Its director Lee Hang Son said the council, which was working with the Penang International Dragon Boat Festival (PIDBF) committee and the Penang Ca-noe Association, hoped to sign up the coaches, who would be offered two-year contracts, af-ter Chinese New Year.
