THREE sisters in Penang decided to go into the restaurant business five years ago with their mother's recipes, and named their restaurant Mama's Nyonya Food as a tribute to her.
The Yeoh sisters – Ruby, Maureen and Vivian – started off by selling vegetarian food “for fun” at a stall in Abu Siti Lane during the Nine Emperor Gods festival.
