PENANG: The hearing against the refusal by the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) to grant an extension of the planning permission for the controversial columbarium project has been put on hold.
The appeal for the extension was filed by Stamford Raffles By The Sea Sdn Bhd in December last year which proposed to build the Buddhist institution-cum-columbarium project in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, dubbed the millionaire’s row, here.
