SJK (C) Ave Maria Convent in Ipoh has won this year's Special Premier Award for the primary school category from the Perak Education Department for its outstanding academic achievement.
The award was given to the school based on its students’ academic performance in the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) in 2004.
