THE habit of school canteen operators dishing out noodles on plates and stacking them up early even before recess time was among the main reasons for food poisoning cases in schools in Penang.
State Health, Welfare and Caring Society Committee chairman P.K. Subbaiyah said a study showed that many canteen operators were fond of doing such things which led to food contamination.
