PENANG: Devotees flock to many makeshift vegetarian stalls lining the streets near temples here as they observe the Nine Emperor Gods Festival or Kew Ong Yeah that started yesterday.
Bedecked with fluttering yellow flags, the stalls sell an array of vegetarian dishes ranging from fried noodles to burgers, pizzas, satay, bak kut teh and fruit rojak.
