CHIEF Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon will receive salary arrears of about RM27,000 following a 10% pay rise as approved by the Penang State Legislative Assembly.
The House passed the Members of the Administration and the Legislative Assembly (Remuneration) (Amend-ment) Enactment 2005 to enable a 10% increase in salary and allowance for the Chief Minister, state executive councillors, State Assembly Speaker and his deputy as well as for state assemblymen.
