THE Johor government will spend RM45mil to install 10km of pipes to transport raw water from Sungai Sembrong Timur to the Sembrong Dam in a bid to overcome the water shortage in Kluang.
Mentri Besar Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman said the project, which would be completed in nine months, was a long-term measure to overcome the problem.
