Seberang Prai fishermen no longer need to send their boats and engines for repair on the island as a new boatyard will soon be set up in Bagan Lebai Tahir.
Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shariff Omar said the RM70,000 boatyard could cater to the needs of fishermen, especially those in the North Seberang Prai district.
