PENANG: It was the lifelong dream of Lok Wan Loo to become a policeman and the proudest moment came when he was accepted as a police volunteer reserve (PVR) personnel.
Lok, 35, attended 10 months of training, thrice weekly for three hours a day after his work as a paint factory technician, at the Federal Reserve Unit base in Boundary Road and “graduated” on Aug 19.
