FOLLOWING the success of the 2004 Festival, the Latin American Embassies and the Embassy of Spain in Kuala Lumpur, the Embassy of Portugal in Bangkok, the National Art Gallery and the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) are collaboratively presenting the 4th Ibero-American Film Festival in Kuala Lumpur until Sept 14.
During the 12-day fest, which kicked off on Sept 3, film fans will be able to examine the social context of the diverse Latin cultures of 10 Ibero-American nations: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain and Venezuela through a selection of 19 quality films chosen by the consul generals of each country.
