PENANG: The Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) should reduce expenses for beautification projects and overseas trips instead of passing the cost by increasing the property assessment rates next year.
State MCA legal bureau chairman Lim Boo Chang described the higher assessment rates as “appalling.”
