THE PJ Half Marathon’s 21st anniversary run, on Sept 18, has given Freescale Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn Bhd, one the run’s main sponsors, a chance to contribute towards a popular community sport. But, more importantly, it provides the firm with a platform to select runners from among its employees.
Freescale’s senior communication specialist (Human Resource Department) Siau Swee Furn said the company would select two men and a couple of women from among participating staff for a marathon in the United States next February.
