STYLISH and effortless chic are what come to mind when one, steps into a GUESS boutique.
Never one to disappoint, the Call Of The Wild launch of GUESS Accessories Fall 2005 at Sugar Club Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur was nothing short of sophisticated glamour.
In accordance with the theme of the night, guests were strikingly clad in leopard and zebra prints, looking right at home amid the animal-inspired décor of the club.
Hosted by Marion Caunter of 8TV, the exclusive Fall 2005 collection of GUESS Handbags and GUESS Watches were spectacularly presented in a fashion show where six dancers mirrored the fluid movements of animals as they helped unveil the accessories worn by the models.
Animal prints are prominent in GUESS Handbags in the forms of motifs, luxurious faux furs, lavish jewels, rhinestones, shiny velvets and metallic crocodile trimmings.
GUESS Watches also embraced the animal theme with the GUESS Heavy Metal watch of polished gold finish and leopard print dial and the GUESS Exotica, available in black smooth leather straps nestled either in a leopard print or striking black fur cuff.
If you’re not a fan of animal prints, there is GUESS’ new gold-inspired collection of three designs– Gala, Radiance and Ballroom - which are watches that shimmer in rose gold, with sparkling Swarovski crystals on classic and neutral pink leathers.
Supermodel Amber Chia made a special appearance in the grand finale of the fashion show where she was announced the Malaysian ambassador for GUESS for the second consecutive year by FJ Benjamin chief executive officer Angie Chong.
“I am very happy to be the face of GUESS again, and hope that GUESS will renew my contract next year.” said the charming model.
On hand to keep the crowd entertained was Ezlynn, winner of Best New Artist AIM 2004.
Celebrities such as model and actress Carmen Soo, Miss Malaysia/World 2003 Wong Sze Zen, Hitz.fm’s Serena C and Channel [V] VJ Joey G were also present at the star studded event.
