THE Malaysian Under-12 boys made a strong impact in the Saitama Cup invitational football tournament held in Tokyo recently when they finished a creditable third in a strong field of 40 teams.
It was the best ever finish by a Malaysian team in the international tournament series, which saw the participation of countries such as Germany, Mexico, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore.
