Close to 200 illegal immigrants were rounded up in the Ampang Jaya municipality in three separate enforcement exercises since January.
Enforcement director Addy Hisham Elias said complaints from the public on disturbances by illegal immigrants had prompted the department to carry out ongoing operations to eradicate illegals.
