I HAVE been living in Kota Kemuning for almost three years, and when I first moved in, everything was beautiful and nice, but recently the environment has changed for the worse.
The air pollution is bad, especially in the mornings and late evenings.
At times, one can't even see the roads and I have to stop my children from going out in the evenings to play.
Recently, I was driving by late one night and I spotted open burning being carried out near the third roundabout in the area.
What are the authorities, especially the Shah Alam City Council, doing to address the problem?
I have tried to report the matter several times to the authorities but it seems like my complaints fall on deaf ears.
The reason I moved here was the environment and the beautiful landscape and I certainly never expected to see open burning and air pollution here.
What is the point of having one of the best golf courses while simple matters are not taken care of?
I am really disappointed and hope that somebody will do something to rectify the problem as soon as possible.
