But, the nostalgic charm of its old days is not entirely lost, such as at a village in Jalan Sungai Besi where BAVANI M finds that time has stood still for some 80 years.  

WATER is drawn from wells. Clay and tin stoves are used as cooking utensils. Nets keep mosquitoes away and the bicycle is a common mode of transport.
