Claypot and bamboo goodness

NOT only is food served in claypots and bamboo pleasing to the eye, claypots retain heat well, so the food inside is warm longer and diners can enjoy it until the last mouthful, while bamboo imparts a subtle flavour to food cooked in it. Throughout this month, Toh Lee Chinese Restaurant at Hotel Nikko Kuala Lumpur presents the diverse Chinese cuisine in claypots and bamboo, such as Braised Spicy Seafood Broth served in Hot Clay Pot, and Baked Freshwater Prawns with XO Sauce in Bamboo Trunk. The dishes are priced between RM12++ and RM138++. For reservations, call 03-2782 6128 or 03-2161 1111 ext 7225.
