Petaling's Nurul Ahmar Badeuzaman failed to extend her supremacy at the 2005 Selangor Games (Sukses) cycling championship in the 9-lap 20km criterium point-race around Seksyen 4 in Shah Alam last week.
She was denied her fifth gold in Sukses when she crashed out in the closing stages of the race. Nurul had dominated the girls’ category with four gold medals out of seven events. She secured gold in 1km individual time trial, 8km cross country, 200m sprint and 25km individual time trial.
