Floods: 418 people evacuated in Beaufort


KOTA KINABALU: A total of 418 people from 121 families have been evacuated due to the floods in Beaufort as of 8am on Saturday (March 8), with the Membakut expected to be the next district to be affected.

The Sabah Disaster Management Committee Secretariat said in a statement that 374 people from 106 families were evacuated to the relief centre at Dewan Selagon, while 44 victims from 15 families were evacuated to the PPS at Dewan Datuk Sri Panglima Mohd Dun Banir.
