E-hailing driver charged with making offensive communications against political party, PM's special officer


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A e-hailing driver pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here Tuesday (July 13) to a charge of improper use of network facilities by sending offensive communications to a political party and a special officer to the Prime Minister via Facebook.

Mahadi Mahbol, 36, was charged with knowingly making and initiating the transmission of the offensive communication with the intention of annoying others by using the profile name "Mahadi Bin Mahbol" at 2.10pm on Oct 15, 2020.
