BEIJING, April 4 (Global Times): China hopes varied political parties and factions in Myanmar should initiate dialogue and consultation as soon as possible, said a spokesperson from China's Foreign Ministry on Friday.

China is seriously concerned with the violence and bloodletting in Myanmar, which hurts Myanmar people. Now restraint should be observed to avoid aggravating the situation there, Hua Chunying, the spokesperson, told a daily news briefing in Beijing.
