MIRI: The past week saw heated debate in Sarawak over how Putrajaya had tried to make hasty decisions on the amendment to the state’s status in the Federal Constitution, as well as the (now aborted) relocation of the High Court Registry away from Kuching – without consulting ordinary Sarawakians.
Politicians, academicians and civil society are very concerned about these issues and are speaking up.
