THE smoking ban at eateries finally came into effect in Sarawak on Friday (March 1), two months after it kicked off in Peninsular Malaysia on Jan 1.
Health enforcement personnel will start inspecting eateries for compliance, with daily operations for the first two weeks and weekly after that.
