Strict enforcement needed to prevent chaos on roads

Jalan Tun Sambanthan is persistently choked with traffic as motorists continue to double-park along the road in spite of two multi-storey carparks in the Little India enclave.

THERE was much ado when it was announced that Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) would be suspending vehicle clamping enforcement in the city.

Mayor Tan Sri Mohd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz justified the snap decision, saying it was a request by Kuala Lumpur MPs following a meeting with parking operators.
