Make sure walkways are for walking

Motorcycles and other obstructions blocking the five-foot ways of businesses and houses along Chulia Street causing pedestrians to walk on the street where there is heavy traffic.

IN MANY ways, George Town is a lot like many European cities, as you can see in any picture of the historical centre.

But when I was at the heritage site, I saw there is something missing from George Town that prevents the city from being as livable and enjoyable as its European cousins: walkability.
