THE flash floods that hit several major roads in the Klang Valley last week should act as a wake-up call for the authorities, who must come down hard on those who had caused the perennial problem.

It is rather unfortunate that all the good news shared during the Budget 2018 a few days earlier were overshadowed by news on flash floods that affected city dwellers.
