THERE seems to be no end to the brouhaha surrounding Pulau Jerejak, a nature’s paradisepreviously known as the ‘Alcatraz of Malaysia’.
We shall be seeing a bridge to Pulau Jerejak from Penang island, 1,200 units of residential development, a marina, four and five-star hotels, a theme park, 11.5km round-island cycling track and related infrastructure to promote tourism in the state. The plan has been approved by the Penanggovernment.
