SARAWAK’s policy of adopting English as a second language for official use has received the thumbs-up from senior lawyer Datuk Dr Cyrus Das.

The Malaysian Society for Labour and Social Security Law president, who was in Kuching to open a regional conference on developments in employment law, congratulated Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem for his “far-sightedness” in declaring English one of the state’s official languages.
