Curious about tuk-tuk

EARLIER this week the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) announced that it was considering introducing tuk-tuks or motorised three-wheeled vehicles as a cheaper alternative to taxis by the end of this year.

According to SPAD, the tuk-tuk was being considered for use in the suburbs, as a new mode of public transport and a form of paratransit for the disabled.
