On-the-job centre to help overcome shortage of aviation professionals

MALAYSIAN Aviation Training Academy (Mata) will open its approved On the Job Training (OJT) centre at Senai International Airport, Johor Baru, to students from various partners in the industry to obtain their professional licence.

Mata established the Aircraft Maintenance Experience Centre (AMEC) in November 2015 as its contribution to the fast-growing industry to overcome the shortage of OJT placements on offer from aircraft operators and Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO).
