SOBA, in its seventh year, is proving to be a good way for small businesses to measure their achievement, as well as learn from the other companies taking part in the awards. JOY LEE reports.

MORE and more small businesses are showing an interest in benchmarking themselves by participating in competitions like The Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) 2016, notes Valerie Choo, deputy president of the Malaysian Retail Chain Association.
