The plant undergoing expansion in Penang.

MINI-Circuits Technologies (Malaysia), a subsidiary of Scientific Components Corp, plans to expand its original design manufacturing (ODM) services for radio frequency (RF) chips for the Asia- Pacific market when its third facility in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is ready in 2017.

Currently, Scientific Components’ focus in Penang is on designing, assembling and testing RF chips under the Mini-Circuits brand name, with very little emphasis on ODM jobs.
