The art of tiles

Express your own unique style by mixing and matching the tiles from Feruni Ceramiche.

LET your creativity soar through your walls and floors with the tiling solutions from Feruni Ceramiche, especially those from their Mix & Match concept.

“We want to help customers achieve their desired style without being constrained by industry norms, as we would like to encourage them to select tiles that suit their own personal taste and preference,” says managing director Datuk C.C. Ngei.

The mix-and-match concept is very popular among their customers, says Ngei, with the most popular sizes being the 60cm by 60cm, the cut-to-size tiles and the decorative tiles.

Feruni’s R&D team takes the lead in coming up with new tile collections, states Ngei.

“Our inspiration comes from exhibitions, the details found in famous designs, creative media platforms and even from the products from competitors. These just form the base ideas, which we then refine by studying how different people mix different tile designs to create living spaces.

“We consider things such as colour combinations and the different characters that emerge from using different-sized tiles together. Our tile designs can also be inspired by such basic elements as size, colour and surfaces. Understanding trends also helps us,” Ngei explains.

He adds that they stay on top of global tile trends so that patrons can just concentrate on creating their unique decor.

Feruni’s offerings come in eight types of tiles, such as unglazed fine porcelain stoneware and porcelain clay, and they feature 16 different surface finishes including brushed, matte and glass.

They offer tiles in 20 different colour tones and more than 100 tiles sizes, including cut-to-size ones and decorative tiles.

Its natural wood design tiles are divided across six collections namely Albero, Detail Wood of Cerim, Geotech, Le Essenze di Rex, Legno and Materia Project. They also offer natural stone designs in 24 collections such as Basaltina, Exotico, Limestone, Marmo, Material Stone of Cerim, Mineral X, Natural, Oceanic, Quartz, Vals Pietra and Walks 1.0 to name a few.

Those looking for a modern cement look can turn to five collections called Azulej, Cemento 2.0, Concrete 2.0, Dechirer and Materia Project.

Feruni rounds up its design with collections that play with colours, namely Azulej, Bas-Relief, Black & White, Dechirer, Folded, Joy, Materia Project, Phenomenon, Teirras and Toile.

Ngei says they have 42 tile collections in total, and all the options allow plenty of room for customers to build their ideal wall or floor tiling ideas.

“There is something for any space requirement. Our wide array of designs has unlimited possibilities and we believe it can transform spaces into works of art,” Ngei says.

For those worried that the endless possibilities may become overwhelming, Feruni has “solution consultants” who can provide professional advice on tile combinations to patrons.
