New credit score system launched


Chin hopes the new system will empower individuals to manage their own credit worthiness better.

PRIVATE credit reporting agency CTOS Malaysia has launched a new credit score system called CTOS Score, aimed at providing banks with a more detailed evaluation of a consumer’s credit risk, even if the consumer in question does not have a credit history.

According to CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Eric Chin, they are leveraging on their proprietary data to give them an edge.
