Asean economic group to create 14mil new jobs

SOME 14 million new jobs will be generated following the establishment of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) by the end of the year.

Asean Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) chairman Datuk Lim Chow Hock said the yearly Gross Domestic Product in Asean was forecast to grow from 4.6% in 2014 to 7.1% by the year 2025, with the establishment of AEC.
