Boom in financial assets continue

Asia, particularly China, remains the unrivalled champion in financial assets growth. The stock market hiccup aside, China’s catch-up process is far from over, according to the Allianz Global Wealth Report.

AGAINST the backdrop of weak markets and slowing demand, people are increasing efforts to save up for a rainy day. Still, a recent “Global Wealth Report” by Allianz revealed that global net financial assets of private households surpassed the €100tril mark last year.
