Safaruddin tames Shan Shui

Safaruddin Abidin made the long and tricky Shan Shui Golf & Country Club course in Tawau, Sabah look easy when he registered a one-under 71 to win the gross title in the 11th round of the Prudential Astro Masters.

The 38-year-old military personnel, dubbed the “Sandakan Pro”, was the favourite to win the event and he did it in style, claiming a seven-stroke victory over his nearest rivals.
