It was a spectacular scene as over 2,000 athletes and officials dressed in their respective state colours marched into Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris Sports Complex in Tanjung Malim, Perak, to mark the opening of Sukan India Malaysia (Sukim) 2017 .
Held for the fourth time, the games was jointly organised by the Malaysian Indian Sports and Cultural Foundation (MISCF) and the host state, Perak.
