A DOWNPOUR which lasted for 90 minutes did not dampen the spirits of the 600 runners and torchbearers who took part in the Perlis leg of the KL 2017 Torch Run.
Despite being drenched to the skin halfway through the run, many carried on with gusto, including school teacher Azmi Saad who delivered the torch to SMK Syed Sirajuddin in Kangar.
