Pakhruddin edges into Prudential Astro Masters grand final in Muscat

FORMER golf champion Pakhruddin Abdul Majid’s long journey from Kuala Terengganu paid huge dividends when he won the overall net title in the second round of the Prudential Astro Masters at the Staffield Country Resort.

Pakhruddin, who emerged champion in the 2013 Prudential Astro Masters grand final in Siem Reap, Cambodia, finished top of the leader board at Staffield with Arman Ramli. Both carded four-under 68s and both played with handicaps of 10.
