Chance to play football in Anfield

MALAYSIA Airlines is giving football fans, especially Liverpool fans, a chance of a lifetime to play at Anfield.

The national carrier is running a competition to find 18 talented players to create two dream teams, who will each be managed by an LFC Legend, to battle it out at Anfield.

Make sure you don’t miss this chance to show off your best footie tricks from dribbling to scoring, as the airline searches for male fans aged 18 and above, and who are excited to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The competition is open to football fans in Malaysia, Asean countries, the United Kingdom, Japan, China and South Korea.

To join, fans need to submit their video on Facebook or YouKu, no longer than 60 seconds, showing off their skills and also explain why they are the biggest Liverpool fan with the hashtags #MalaysiaAirlines and #TakeMeToAnfield.

Participants will also be required to fill in a form and upload their video at www.malaysiaairlines.com/Anfield

The contest runs until March 31.

Malaysia Airlines chief commercial officer Arved von zur Muehlen said they were excited to organise the global competition.

“This gives Liverpool FC fans, and of the beautiful game, the opportunity to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

“It will definitely be a tough decision to pick our dream teams from the pool of very talented individuals from across the globe.

“The winners will be shortlisted based on their skills and creativity, and will also be given a chance to join a football clinic by the Liver-pool FC coaches at Anfield, ” he added.

Eighteen winners will be selected globally and will be flown to Liverpool for an exclusive tour of Anfield. They will then experience a training session at Liverpool FC’s Academy in preparation for the big game.

In October last year, Malaysia Airlines announced a deal with Liverpool FC, bringing together two major international brands.

With 18 English League titles, five Champions League trophies and eight League Cups, Liverpool FC is one of the best supported clubs worldwide.
