PARENTS of budding shuttlers had their ears tuned in when a member of the 1992 Thomas Cup winning squad – Rashid Sidek– shared his experience of growing up in a badminton playing household to becoming one of the best players in the world.
“It was very different in terms of facilities and training during my time,” he said at the start of Milo Champions Clinic which kicked off late October at the Sports Affairs badminton hall in Cheras.
