My World FC, which fielded a team in the Football Association of Selangor league, launched the academy to train past and present students of SJK (T) Mak Mandin at the MPSP Sports Complex in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
The students, who are divided into Under-9, Under-12 and Under-18 categories, will attend twice-weekly training sessions and compete in tournaments under the My World banner.
