IIUM Mustang became the first team to book a semi-final berth in Division Three of the TNB-QNET Selangor Hockey league.
IIUM Mustang, playing in Group A, collected maximum points in their matches against KIE Hockey Team and Highlander Hockey Club to maintain an unbeaten record in the league. IIUM Mustang defeated KIE HT 7-2 and upstaged Highlander Hockey Club 4-0.
