State karate team get RM51,000 payout for impressive Sukma performance

KARATE received the biggest payout during the incentive presentation ceremony to the Penang medal winners in the 18th Sukma Games in Sarawak.

The karate exponents, the largest medal contributors for Penang with a haul of seven gold, one silver and four bronze medals, received a total of RM51,075 from Chief Minister I Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon and state Youth and Sports Committee chairman Chong Eng during the ceremony on Saturday.
