A SPECIAL hockey tournament for referees was held for the first time at the Sultan Azlan Shah Stadium in Ipoh.
The Hockey Referee Cup tournament saw the participation of teams, consisting of referees registered with the National Referee Committee from Selangor, Penang, Johor, Malacca, Perak and the Malaysian Army.
