FORMER champions KJLJD escaped from a bigger defeat when they met UiTM in a Division One match of the QNET-Selangor Hockey League.
The match, played at the Tun Razak Stadium in Jalan Duta, was called off in the 48th minute due to heavy rain and lightning. The score was then 2-0 favouring UiTM. As per the competition rules, the result will stand and both team managers were informed of the situation.
