LOCAL athletes who qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will be rewarded with RM12,000 by the Penang government.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the incentive was to be a morale booster for athletes to attain international recognition.
